About Course:
This course covers the requirements of the STCW Convention and Code. On meeting the minimum standard of competence in fire prevention and firefighting to be able to prevent fires and deal with fires at sea.

Course Objectives:
This course aims to provide training for candidates in fire prevention and fire fighting in accordance with Section A-VI/1-2 of the STCW Code. For basic safety training and instruction.
Course Information:
• Meeting the minimum standard of competence in fire prevention and firefighting,
• Actions on discovering a fire.
• Operate fixed fire-fighting installations.
• Breathing Apparatus procedures.
• Shipboard fire-fighting organization and procedures.
• Search operations.
• Transfer of casualty
• Trainee will be competent to take appropriate measures for the safety to personnel and of the ship.
• Use firefighting equipment correctly to extinguishing different types of fire.
