I am Shahd Ahmed, a graduate of Sharjah MaritimeAcademy. I had theopportunity to receive my sea training as a cadet for Zakher MarineInternational Company on Jack Up Barges in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Iproudly belong to the first female Emirati batch in this sector. Iworked as a deck cadet in NAMMA EXPRESS on board a RORO/PASS ship inSaudi Arabia. I sailed in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf on many types ofships and learned everything I could during this period. I gained sound experiencein the ADNOC Oil Field (Zakum) on board the Jackup Barge. I completed the STCW ancillary courses from Sharjah Maritime Academy.
