This refresher course covers the requirements of the STCW Convention and Code. On meeting the minimum standard of competence to provide elementary first aid on board ship.

Course Objectives:
This course aims to meet the mandatory requirements for refreshing seafarers for familiarization, basic safety training and instruction in accordance with Section A-VI/1-3 of STCW Code.
Course Information:
• Take immediate action upon encountering an accident or medical emergency.
• Provide necessary action to preserve life until the arrival of a person with medical first aid skills or the person in charge of medical care on board.
